'The Mums' went to York for the day - on the train and kidless- Sunshine, shopping and Art what more could we want - oh yes Betty's and beer - and we got them too! We went to the Quilt Museum and saw the Quilt Art at 25 show. Wonderful work- I wanted to leap back to my workroom and get creating. Pieces were large and unframed - they looked fantastic. Lots of pieces using print too - can't wait til I have more time and can get the printing inks out too..(note to self try not to wish away Suzy's last pre school summer too quickly!) We also hit upon the York Artists Studio Tours weekend too - favourite was definitely Mark Hearld
Look at this room - its almost as overcrowded as mine - but this one still stays the right side of the creative chaos divide whereas mine has definitely slipped over the abyss. Anyway, we loved the animal prints and collages- even more desperate to get back to the attic and tidy up/oops do some work!
