In Stitches

Here's some pictures for a project I did for Surestart last year - it doesn't seem that long ago! I'm about to start including figures in my work..which made me think of this doll project! The idea was to get hard to reach parents more involved in school, so we had a doll making workshop starting off with very simple handkerchief dolls and building up to developing our own patterns and using the sewing machine!
